Repair And Warranty Policy

 

Linkwise Technology is proud of its product and services however depending upon the situation it might encounter defects and unexpected error. Linkwise is grateful to repair it under terms and condition given upon signing the contract.

Repair and Warranty Statement

This Repair and Warranty applies in every Linkwise branch.

This serves as a guidelines for every clients that Linkwise had served. 

 

Limited Warranty

 

Linkwise warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship. Under normal use and service, every hardware portion of the products will be free from physical defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period, or the product will be repaired or replaced as determined solely by Linkwise. Linkwise provides a limited warranty for its products only to the person or entity that originally purchased the product from Linkwise.

We offer a standard 1 year manufacturer’s warranty for all our products subject to change depends upon the contract signed by Linkwise and its clients. Within the warranty period, a product is repaired free of charge provided it meets our warranty conditions. After the warranty period has expired, we can still repair your product for you. We will send you a quotation for the repair via e-mail.

The following standard warranty rules apply to Linkwise products and services only. 

1 years global limited warranty applies to all Linkwise branch.

 

Extra warranty period might be provided Linkwise Technology branches depends upon the contract signed and agreed. Please contact your Sales Engineer for the local warranty period. Extended warranty may be offered with extra payment instances.

If a product does not operate as warranted above during the applicable warranty period, Linkwise shall, at its option and expense, repair the defective product or part, deliver to the client an equivalent product or part to replace the defective item.

The warranty will be void if the product is serviced by anyone other than Linkwise Technology.

Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be the repair or replacement of the defective Product, as specifically described above. Linkwise Technology, neither assumes nor authorizes any other person or entity to assume any other obligation or liability beyond that which is provided for in this limited warranty.

 

The limited warranty does not cover the following:

  • The warranty period is expired,

  • The warranty label is broken or removed.

  • Products or accessory equipment not provided by Linkwise Technology

  • The defect was subject to abuse, improper use not conforming to product manual instructions, or environment conditions more severe than those specified in the manual and specification.

  • Unauthorized installation, removal or repair.

  • The defect was subject to Force Majeure, such as acts of God, flood, lighting, earthquake, war, vandalism, theft, brownouts or sags (damage due to low voltage disturbances)

  • Performance of the product when used in combination with other products or equipment not provided by Linkwise Technology.

  • Payments for labour or service to representatives or service centres not authorized by Linkwise Technology.

If the customer’s product is not covered under warranty, Linkwise may offer Repair Services with additional payment does the customer agrees.

 

Repair Service

Warranty and out of warranty service should be obtained by contacting the Branch where the client transact. When requesting for service, the proof of purchase, contract of services and memorandum of agreement may request to provide. The return of the defective product should be strictly implemented and check by engineers if it is truly defective.

There are no user serviceable parts inside the product. Do not allow any unauthorized service center or personnel to repair or modify the product.

It is customer’s sole responsibility to back up his/ her data. Before allowing any service from Linkwise, including remote login check and repairing service, the client must back up the data.

 

Repair Procedure

Upon receipt, units will be checked by Linkwise Technology,  technical personnel, to confirm the fault as described by customer.

Linkwise Technolog upholds the right to make decision whether to repair the unit ourselves or send it to a manufacturer’s service centre for price estimate and repair.

If the unit is out of warranty or warranty terms have been voided, Linkwise will give a price estimate which must be accepted before actual repair procedure is initialised.

Warranty repairs will be returned and install to customer immediately after repair is completed.

 

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

WARRANTIES EXCLUSIVE

IF THE LINKWISE PRODUCT DOES NOT OPERATE AS WARRANTED ABOVE, THE CUSTOMER’S SOLE REMEDY SHALL BE, AT LINKWISE OPTION, REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, EITHER IN FACT OR BY OPERATION OF LAW, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. LINKWISE NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY OTHER PERSON TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY OTHER LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE, INSTALLATION MAINTENANCE OR USE OF LINKWISE’S PRODUCTS.

LINKWISE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS WARRANTY IF ITS TESTING AND EXAMINATION DISCLOSE THAT THE ALLEGED DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT DOES NOT EXIST OR WAS CAUSED BY CUSTOMER’S OR ANY THIRD PERSON’S MISUSE, NEGLECT, IMPROPER INSTALLATION OR TESTING, UNAUTHORIZED ATTEMPTS TO REPAIR OR MODIFY, OR ANY OTHER CAUSE BEYOND THE RANGE OF THE INTENDED USE, OR BY ACCIDENT, FIRE, LIGHTNING, OR OTHER HAZARD.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL LINKWISE, ITS SERVICE PROVIDER OR EITHER’S AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS OR ENGINEERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR UNFORESEEABLE, (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO), CLAIMS FOR LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, INCONVENIENCE, DELAY, PROFITS, USE OF MONEY OR USE OF THE LINKWISE PRODUCTS, INTERRUPTION IN USE OR AVAILABILITY OF DATA.
