Fuel Leak Detection System installed at one of the largest banks in the Philippines
PROJECT DETAILS
Location: Makati, Philippines
Date: 2020
Application: Fuel Leak Detection System
Technology: TTSIM-1 and TT – 5000-SC
Interfaced Equipment:
2 Fuel day tank
2 Fuel Tank
KEY CHALLENGES
The Generator set of the building has a fuel tank and a day tank. The day tank refills the fuel in the fuel tank once it is empty. However, the client wants to monitor if there’s any leak in the tank, so they can manage it and prevent possible sudden blast or fire in the facility since fuel is a combustible element that may cause fire.
SOLUTION : FUEL LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM
Linkwise Technology installed fuel leak detection system around the 2-fuel day tank to detect any fuel leak around the tank. Once the sensing cable sense any presence of combustible fuel, it will send an alarm to the tracing module that is installed in the panel and triggered the alarm system and will notify the person in charge. With this solution, a bigger situation like fire and unexpected blast that will cost damage in the property of the client and may even cause human causalities will be prevented and necessary action can be taken immediately.

PRODUCTS
TT5000-SC is a sensing cable that detects the presence of liquid hydrocarbon fuels at any point along its length, yet does not react to the presence of water. Installed with a TraceTek alarm and locating module TTSIM-1, the cable senses the liquid, triggers an alarm, and pinpoints the location of the leak within one meter.

BENEFITS OF FUEL LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM
- Early detection of fuel at any point along its length
- Real-time alerts
